Apparently AMG will offer Germans a package that deletes the look-at-me quad exhausts and other bits to make the E63 look more like a regular E-class. Maybe, just maybe, it could signal a return to more understated super sedans and fewer obscene cars like the Jag with the wing or M5s with 19 M badges.

I understand debadging. But deleting the AMG bumpers, diffuser, exhaust, mirrors, wheels, spoiler, etc? No thanks.
I hope you at least get a MAJOR discount for using E320 Diesel body panels (which are a lot cheaper).

I want this very badly. The only reason I didn't like the E63 was because it was too "look at me." I really want to see how this turns out.
This harks back to the great W124 500E, what is in my opinion

I would venture a guess that it really only deletes the quad exhaust tips and the painted brake calipers. If I were super wealthy, I would get one with the appearance delete, install some on demand muffler bypass valves, and fuck with people =]
